Come and see what God has done, how awesome His works in man's behalf!–Psalm 66:5
Come and see what God has done,
All the vict'ries He has won.
Works of power, works of love,
Streaming down from heav'n above.
Awesome works of mercy born,
Shown on resurrection morn!
See the tomb where once there lay,
God's own Son, for three dread days,
He was there, for He had died,
As a curse was crucified.
Our own substitute was he,
When he died upon the tree.
Now its empty, He's not there,
He's escaped from death's dark lair.
Why seek ye among the dead,
He who's risen as He said.
He has triumphed o'er the grave
For the ones He came to save.
Awesome works of righteousness,
Justice owns the sacrifice.
All our sins are washed away,
Wrath is gone: It's God's new day.
Christ has died and now He lives,
God is just while He forgives!
Rising to His heavenly throne,
Jesus watches o'er His own.
He's the Lord by God's decree,
Ruling all things sovereignly.
Come and see what God has done
By the work of His dear Son.
