NONE GOOD BUT GOD AND THOSE IN CHRIST

"There is none good," so says the Lord,
"None righteous, no not one."
And thus can none approach to God,
Except in Christ the Son.
One Way there is to all who'd come,
One Truth in Whom we're blessed;
One Life in Christ who is the Life,
The Lord our righteousness.
What else but pride could make me think,
It not as God has said;
The "way that seemeth right" is but,
The way of all the dead.
Oh God the Holy Spirit now,
With light relieve our night;
And give us sight that we may see,
Christ Jesus who is Light.
May we by faith trust all to Him,
Whose blood for sin atoned;
And be accepted by Your grace,
In Jesus Christ alone.
