CHRIST PAID MY DEBT OF SIN

To God above this sinner owed
Far more than I could pay;
My sins were debts, an awful load,
But Christ put them away.
He canceled all my sinful blame,
And satisfaction made;
O bless the dear Redeemer's Name,
My ransom price is paid!
O praise the Lamb Whose blood was shed,
For me was crucified;
What hell He suffered in my stead!
In Christ I'm justified.
'Tis only right that I should be,
A living sacrifice;
For I am saved eternally,
Christ Jesus paid my price!
Eternal life to Christ I owe,
My Lord, my Life, my Friend;
He washed and made me white as snow,
I'll praise Him without end.
Someday in heav'n I'll sing His praise,
With all the blood-bought throng;
Forevermore my voice I'll raise,
And sing redemption's song.
